All Stars

Baseball didn't stop with city league in June like we thought, we received a call one night asking if Maestin would play all the All Star team. He got picked out of three teams in the minor league they picked 12 to be on the All Star team. He was excited. We were happy for him, he worked hard. So here are the pictures of his all star games. We played one game down in Utah. Then we went to Soda for a weekend. The team took fourth there. We went to Montpelier for a weekend. Maestin had his best tournament there. He received the MVP one game and the sportsmanship award on another game. We then had our last game in Malad. The team had fun and were a lot better by the end of the season!

For winning the MVP Masestin earned a ride on a hot air balloon, this is them before the ride Addler and Ruxton went with him. My camera ran out of battery before I could get a picture of them on the balloon.
Malad All Star uniform, I think he looks nice! This picture kind of shows his baseball battle wounds too. He got hit in the face with a fly ball in the sun. He cut his top and bottom lip real good. His lip was huge for about a week.
Holdan and Ruxton just hanging out. Most of the time the three were playing baseball where ever they could!
Maestin getting ready to hit. This is a game in Utah before they had their uniforms.
Maestin on second.
It was a busy two months, but we did have fun as a family. We took Matt and Deneice's trailer (thanks a million you are both great!) to camp in Soda and Montpelier. It was nice to just hang out and have some fun together! Not a lot different than going to rodeo's like when I was a kid! Thanks Maestin it was fun watching you play ball, learn life lessons, and grow.
