Addlers finger/Swimming lessons 6-30-11

The boys did swimming lessons in June. Originally I had Addler, Ruxton, and Holdan. However, after Holdan got there and they wouldn't just let him swim wherever he wanted he was pretty much done. He loves the water and will jump in and swim any where. We took off his floaties this summer to see if he could swim and he took off swimming under the water. So maybe next year I will see if they can move him up. Addler and Ruxton both passed level two this year. Which is the hardest class to pass. They are both pretty good swimmers, and they had fun. But I think they are a little hesitant about next year because it is going to get harder.

This is what Addler would wear to swimming lessons, his swim trunks and cowboy boots. Yes, he is his fathers child, and he could care less what others think. I honestly don't think he even thought it was odd. He has swim shoes but they are just a pain to put on. I could not miss a chance for a picture like this!

In May our family had a hard time figuring out how to close a door. Ruxton and Addler would both open the door grab the door and swing it behind them. Ruxton lost a finger nail by bruising it real bad. This morning Addler was headed out the door, and he caught his nail just right and ripped it right out. Gross I know. I had the nail on the sink to take a picture and Addler kindly asked me to throw it away because it made him sick, and made his finger hurt worse. It is growing back nicely and should look perfectly normal, but it was a bit traumatic and nasty!

Camping in Mackay/ Woodbury Runion 6-25-11

We had a Woodbury reunion this year at my grandparents home in Mackay.  We decided to go early and camp.  We went up behind their house found a spot and had a ton of fun.
Holdan wanted me to take a picture of him in this "cool" spot after breakfast.
Austin not wanting me to take a picture of him after breakfast...of course I took one any way!  Isn't he cute trying to be mad with that cute smile telling me that he is really not!  I love this man.
Holdan
Austin doing the dishes...yeah for vacations!
The boys climbed this mountain clear to the top and wanted a picture so you can just barely see them.  They then made me climb clear up there to see the chair in a rock that looked like a kings chair on a throne.  It really did.

We took a drive farther up the canyon and stopped and explored.  The boys were so fascinated by the elk rubs on the trees, Austin is showing and explaining this and they are all listening intently.  They then tracked the elk from one tree to another trying to figure out exactly what went on.

We love to go places together as a family.  We need to do it a lot more; however, this was a fun trip and we enjoyed ourselves.  The the views were incredible.

Holdans B-day 6-20-11

My baby is now three going on six, and eight, and ten...what ever age his brother is!  He turned three with a bang and we had a good time.  I was a little stressed because all he wanted for his birthday was a watch and I could not find one any where.  After stopping at every possible place to buy a watch I found one and he loved it.
He went to help Addler find some winnie sticks and this is what he came back with for himself.

We had a winnie roast out back and invited Grandma and Grandpa Price to come out.  It was a lot of fun.
The Birthday cake and song.
Who is that hickish child in the background with the shorts white legs and bent cowboy hat?...just wait the pictures get better.

The Watch! and the goof ball in the background! (Ruxton..lets make sure that years form now we know who this is!)
His new guns from Grandma and Grandpa Price and new shirt that he got for his  b-day he just had to put them on the next day.  There is my three year old.  I have really enjoyed every moment with this little guy.  He has been the joy of our families life.  Even if he is a bit spoiled, he still is very kind hearted, and likes everyone to be happy.  His most favorite thing is still to read, read, read.  He loves to draw and color, and just play.  HE has a great imagination.  He loves more than anything to play with the brothers, and can be found with them always.  You were a sweet baby boy and are still my little man!

Time out for women-sisters weekend 6-4-11

Our sisters weekend was a weekend of filling cups! It was great to go to the time out for women be inspired by the people there and to be inspired by the women I was surround by. I left the Time Out for Women with a lot of things in mind, but one was, Am I becoming the women the Lord needs me to be? It is s choice taht I make, and it is possible I just have to look at myself and my life and recommit to what the lords needs. He has a mission for me, I know it to some extent but I know that there is more and I will be prepared when I find out what it is. I loved coming away with a desire to recommit to the things I need to be doing!

They are all so beautiful! They are even more inside. These are all amazing strong, "do not doubt" women. I feel so fortunate that I get to associate with them and have them in my life to strengthen me and lift me! Great weekend, we really need more of them.

Moms and babies! We had to fight for a place for our girls to sit that was easy access in and out!

I was so inspired by these women and there drive to be on their own mission. They were totally committed to their husbands and families, but they are sharing a gift and a message that is from the Lord. My boys even loved there music. I wish my mission was to sing...no I am family educating my children! Man some people get all the good talents! All kidding aside I was totally moved by all of the music the whole weekend, probably the biggest spiritual whoo for me!! Amazing people on amazing missions!
