Fall in Bull Canyon

We had a lot of work cut out for us this year in the canyon.  We had most of the cows out there this year.  And we decided to ween some of the calves early because it was such a dry hot summer.  So, we headed out with some extra help and the boys.  Grandma Tubbs was a lot of help and came out to watch Holdan and the baby so I could help.

We  preged over 400 head of cows Austin works the chute all day.  The boys kept them coming all day and we did almost a hundred an hour.
Wyatt Warren a friend and his dad came and helped.  Ruxton, Holdan, and Addler
Maestin rides hard and works as hard as any man.  The guys out to stone that uncle Matt runs with and Maestin goes out to help talk about what a hard worker he is and ask about using him for their help.
Our crazy Ruxton is a hard worker too.

Grandma and Taggert came down to the corrals to see the action.

Working in the canyon is always fun, we love to go out and ride it is always beautiful  and peaceful.   I love to have all the boys out with me and can't wait until Holdan is riding and Taggert is old enough to ride with me.  We are lucky to raise our boys in this lifestyle.  It teaches them so much about hard work and responsibility.  It may be tough at time, however, the benefits greatly out weigh the hardships.
