I am not a fan at all of moving cows in the winter, on the other hand, this was a beckon of light for my boys. Winter is hard for the Tubbs crew. Every time we see grass any where Addler says, "Oh man they are so lucky they have grass." They do spend time outside but not as long as they would like. This was a most anticipated event. Addler and Ruxton made plans for days who was riding who, what they were going to wear, the whole nine yards. This was towards the end of January. Some of the cows were down in the meadow lands and we move them across the valley to our place, so that they are closer. I drove in the pickup and trailer, happily, while the boys couldn't wait their turn to ride Holdan included.
Holdan rode until he feel asleep, it wasn't even 20 degrees out side. He was pretty fired up when he woke up not on the horse!

These two had to wait their turn, they endured it pretty good!
I thought this was a cool picture-Austin

Maestin and Bronco
Bronco was ready to go, he was as excited as the boys.
Holdan happy to be a part of the day!

Love the pics of your boys. How fun for them to be able to do things like that. Someday we'll be close enough to come and do some cattle drives with you guys...someday.
I love the pic of Holdan asleep with Austin...reminds me of Kade when he was little riding with mom.
