Ruxton Baptisam

Our Ruxton is growing up and made a good choice in choosing to be baptized.  He was very thoughtful and a bit emotional about the whole process.  It was neat to seem him keep to himself and quietly contemplate what it means.  When he came up our of the water he had a big grin on his face!  He is a tough boy that wears his heart on his shoulder.  We love his personality in our home.  He keeps us on our toes.  He is a tease and always game for anythings.  His brothers loves to play with him.

Our Little Dude

Ruxton got this flat top for Christmas, it was one of the only things he asked for.  I needed a picture for his baptism pictures so this is our Ruxton.  He has turned into a tough little dude, he is a lot of help on the ranch.

Addler had to take some pictures to introduce himself and our lifestyle for a geography class he was taking.  These are the pictures that he took, he wanted to go with dad one morning and take pictures of him feeding cows, I thought that they turned out pretty good!

Too many pictures to pick from so I put a few of the ones that I took on.  He is growing up way too fast.  All the boys are, I hope and pray that we can keep taking the time to just enjoy their spirit and energy.

Taggert playing

We pulled out a old toy to be new for Taggert he had so much fun watching the balls drop and picking them up.  He is growing up way to fast.

Holdan always has to have a picture if I am taking one...I think he is so right he is way to cute not to have a picture of.

Ruxton's Birthday

For Ruxton's special number 8 birthday he wanted to go bowling.  We rented the bowling alley and called the family to come for a night of fun.  It was really fun.  Kade and Ashley and the kids came, Kade and Shancy and their family came, and Grandma and Grandpa Price and Grandma and Grandpa Tubbs.  Ruxton is excited to be baptized but is taking it at his pace, slow and making sure he understands it all.  The primary presidency and scout leader came over, he was quiet and didn't say much.  I am glad that he is taking it serious and wanting to really know if this is what he wants to do and asking questions.  He is a fun boy to have in the home.  He is everyone's favorite playmate and is always up for a challenge.  Our life would be dole without him in our life.

Ruxton ready for the birthday song.  Gavin ready to sing.

Taggert discovering Dad

All of my boys have loved their dad, however, it takes them a little while to discover how fun it is with dad because he is busy, and they love to be busy.  This particular day Austin came in and worked on the laundry room.  Taggert was intrigued and could not be convinced to be anywhere but right their watching dad.  It is only a matter of time when he will be begging for Dad and he will become their favorite, it has happened every time without fail.  I love that I am married to such a great man, that loves his children and they love him so much.

A Year of Lasting Memories

Well it is time to start recording all of our special and not to special events for the year of 2013 and if the rest of the year follow what has already occurred, it should be an exciting year.  I hope that as a family we can enjoy our year together.  I hope that we can make lasting memories that can change our lives for the better and that we can fall back on them when we are in a time of need.  I hope for a year where we can slow down and enjoy our life as it is so that we can remember it.  As a mother I hope that I can enjoy the short time I have left with these handsome boys in my home.  They are the joy of my life, my life would have no meaning without them.  They are my meaning.  I have grown incredible amounts in a breadth of directions in the 12 years that I have been a mother.  I hope that this year we can all find a way to grow and that part of that growth comes from each other as we forge lasting relationships.
