Going home!

Man it is no fun saying good buy. It was so fun spending time with the Ponds and getting to know them better. And the chance to see that little baby when she was little was wonderful. Thanks for helping us get there Shayne and Pepper and for the good time and food we had.

After we flew into Anchorage we spent a couple of hours with Kay and Jared. They took us up to a gold mine, and some other awesome sights.

It was a great time, but I was ready to get home to my family. While I was away my family learned how to function completely without me! Holdan became fully potty trained while I was away and Austin was a super dad/mom. I was so excited to see them I went to sacrament meeting after no sleep in forever to see them!

The spit

I am just going to get these up so that I can get the rest of the our summer up. This is our day at the spit. We had a ton of fun this day.

He found one, ONE rock on the docks and had to have it and throw it in. I know it seems weird that we are holding him. Two reasons there is a lot of water every where and he was tired by the end of the day.

This guy was cool he built the motor home thing behind. It is beautiful and such craftmenship. However I thought it was so funny because he said something about making moms husband mad...he has no idea!

He started licking salt off this napkin waiting for dinner. It got funny when he was coughing and gagging himself with it. I never could get a picture of that but he had me and mom rolling...yep that is right we didn't stop too soon.

He was running a bit ahead of us, all the sudden he stops and points and says it's the spit! We got a good laugh!

I need to say how fun it was to pend time with my mom. We spent a lot of time together and it was so fun, to be able to leave both of our lives for a little bit and just relax and have a good time. I am grateful for a mother that I can spend that much time with and still love her at the end:) Thanks mom it was so much fun to be able to go on this trip with you.

Mom and I loved looking for shells and spending time on the beach as much as he did, actually probably more. This was such a fun day.

Funniest thing at the museum is we discovered he didn't like the seals he was a little afraid of them so what did we do? Yep we went and took pictures.

These displays were so cool. They all had a secret door somewhere on them, he loved finding them!

He wouldn't get in the cave, so I got in the cave thinking how cool, he got in and liked it for about one minute and then was for getting out!

He wanted the baby stuffed moose with the big display moose in a very big way, we had to distract him, or we just let him put the stuffed moose with it I can't remember.

He loved the kayak thing and didn't really want to leave it, all in all it was such a fun day. We completely wore him out this day. He was such a trooper he just was happy to go and do whatever we wanted to do! Thanks Mr. Lachlan for spending unforgettable time with us. I will always remember the time we spent together. And wish there were more just like this.
