Christmas

Nothing is better than a lot of pictures of Christmas to bring back lots of found memories, of family, fun, and love.

We decided to make suckers this year to give away as gifts and well to eat too.  It turned out to be fun, thank goodness for Grandma Tubbs she let us barrow her sucker molds, and we were grateful that had some memories of making suckers with his mom.  The boys had a terrible time waiting to get a chance of the perfect lick.
Maestin loved his yo-yo and got pretty good at it.

Ruxton go a music set with all kinds of fun instruments.

Addler reading his book.

Patiently waiting for they next gift.

A thank you hug and Christmas, Addler and Holdan

Holdan got a gun!

We had to buy dad a piggin string to try and entice him to rope more!

There is nothing like Christmas to bring the hugs and thank-yous out!  Addler and Ruxton.

Maestin worked very hard on this gift for his mommy.  It is so cool he carved the letters for Tubbs Ranch out of wood and then put nails in the top and strung it through an old rusty pipe.  He knows his mom well.  I loved it.

They all go a isle to paint and write on.

Maestin trying to figure out his circuit robot car.

Code: Family secret 11-14-11

We had a family activity about a week ago , where the boys each had to find a red peace of paper.  On the paper was a letter.  They had to put the letters together to make a word.  The word was the answer to a question we asked them......

This is what they found...the question was what are we getting that is new?  They were pretty excited and already very concerned that it won't be a boy.  I told them not to worry too much our chances are pretty good on the boy side.  All pretty crazy I know.  Was a big secret for a long time, not any more they cannot stop telling people!!  Funny thing is this secret can't be "hidden" for long a lot of people guessing our secret already.

skating

Once a month the Delta Skating in Pocatello has a home school day for kids to come and go skating.  We love it and have had a lot of fun going.  We work all week on accomplishing all our tasks happily, so we can earn the trip.  This day we went with our friends from Malad.

Halloween

I should have waited until they were old enough to carve pumpkins a long time ago.  It was so nice they did it by themselves and had a good time.
Holdan not so fond of the gross stuff inside.
They were so excited to light up their pumpkins, Addler's turned out great

Maestin was a war wolf, Ruxton a skeleton  Holdan a policemen that would arrest the scary two, and Addler was a patriot.

Holdan and a bit of Ruxton

Holdan helped mom make sugar cookies for Halloween.  I asked if he wanted to try some of the cookie dough he said no...thinking it wouldn't taste too good.  I finally convinced him and he said, "Um this better than I thought."  Then I couldn't keep him out of it.

This boy loves books, I just love when they fall asleep in silly ways, but it melts my heart to seem the fall asleep with a book.
We moved Holdan down stairs with Maestin he thought he was ready.  But no quite after a few nights we had to get him something upstairs for a bit longer.

He loves to create and build this is he car of some sort that he came up with out of our gears toys.  He loves to spend time building.

Ruxton in his own went out picked the rest of the carrots and brought them in a washed them up for us all to enjoy.  He is a doer!
