Field Trip to the The Golden Spike!

For a fun school trip we decided to go out and see the Golden spike and learn the history and what it was all about.  It was a really fun day, we learned a lot and could not have done this alone with some really great boys.  The big boys helped with the little boys and they were all very good!

Addler, Ruxton, Holdan, Taggert

A favorite of the trip was the locomotives.  They had them in for the winter doing maintenance on them. Maestin, Mom, Addler, Taggert, Ruxton, Holdan

They were amazed at how big the wheels were.

The "Goldan Spike" where the two companies meet with the building the railroad.

Holdan wanted a picture with the Goldan Spike

Taggert still happy at the end of the day.

I Like Being 1!

We love our Taggert and he is a happy one year old.  He will chew on the same apple for a couple of days.  It will be lost and he finds in somehow.  He is a light in our lives.

This is the smile I get when I try to take a picture!

Easter

Easter morning at the Tubbs home.  Lots of fun things to find.  My favorite part of Easter morning is hearing the boys get up and take care that each one is getting a fair share of the spoils.  They are always so kind to each other.  Of course the the very best things is celebrating the amazing miracle of our Saviors resurrection.  I hope and pray that my boys' testimony will continue to grow of the enormity of this miracle in their own lives.  I have such strong testimony of the resurrection and the role that it plays in my life.

Happy baby Taggert on a beautiful Easter morning!

He wants a piece of daddy's Easter spoils!

He is walking and so excited to see and egg on ground just for him!

Addler happy with a stick of jerky in his basket.

The search is on for their own colored egg and the race is on for any bonus eggs! Maestin and Ruxton.

Holdan excited with what he found!

Yea, I love Easter!!!

Baby Twins...Just a Day in the Life of Ranching

We ran out to Strevell to pick up the rest of what was left of the cows out there to take to spring pasture.  We decided to take everyone along.  I just rode a long on the Rhino with Taggert and Holdan.  We came across a couple of brand new babies, and threw one in when we got watching another baby and the first mamma, she couldn't decide who to be more worried about the baby in the Rhino or the baby following another cow.  We concluded that we did indeed have twins, so in they went to the Rhino, they didn't want to stay down so Austin rode in the back, Ruxton lead his horse and Taggert was excited.  I had to get a picture much to Austins dismay!  But it was too cute not to get a picture of two cute boys, two cute babies, and one hot cowboy!  We had a fun day working cows!
It worked pretty good to seat belt Taggert in with Holdan he couldn't craw all over.  It is crazy how fast they grow, not even a year ago bringing the cows how in the fall he was riding in his infant seat with me in the rhino.

Mom can we take our raft out in the reservoir???

Addler was reading Mark Twain's Tom sawyer and decided he would build a raft.  I though it was great until they all go involved and then thought they needed to try it out.  I asked myself can they not see the snow on the banks??  Oh, well they had so much and it didn't last for only a day!  They claim the water was warm!!??  Boys will be boys.

Addler, Ruxton, and Maestin and their...raft??  Looks like it could have used some "back to the table" work.

More rafting in teped waters.

The three trouble makers!

They always seem to figure out how to have fun!

Holdan really wanted to join the "fun"!

Unhappy little brother...mom said no not until he swims a little bit better!

Valentines Day

The boys all got a set of sweatpants for Valentines day.  I love these boys so much, and I love to share a day of showing just how much we love each other.

Ruxton, Maestin, Addler, Taggert, Holdan

Taggert is really getting around and crawling a lot now.
