Fair was Auguast 16-20, and we were there everyday. It is crazy but we were prepared and knew what was coming, we even had fun. The week starts off on Monday we have the working ranch part of the horse show...this is actually the shortest day for us.
Maestin waiting for his turn on duster, at the one one one stationing. He actually did pretty well with this I think he placed third.
Maestin doing the dummy roping, he didn't end up placing in the top three in this, but the judge said he handled his horse better than any one in the class. Him and duster practiced a lot on this.

I didn't get any more pictures of the rest of the horse show. He place second in the team penning, it was fun to watch him do this he was pretty good at it, and he should be it is what he spends a lot of time doing. The next morning we rose early to head into a long day of the horse show. We started with halter and ended five events and many hours later. Maestin, Grandma, Jazzy, and I spent a lot of hours preparing for the show and Maestin did great. The judge this year was way impressed with Maestin but not so impressed with our energy filled Jazzy. She mentioned to someone what an amazing rider our Maestin was she just couldn't believe it. Maestin did do great he memorized five patterns in a matter of a few hours and nailed everyone. Thanks to grandma, she can look at pattern and have it down in seconds and showing Maestin...mean while I am still looking at the pattern wondering weather they are going left or right! He took a blue in every event, and won the snaffle bit. It was fun to watch him nail the snaffle bit, he was the youngest in the class and him and soda pop did awesome. That was Mestins' and Grandmas' little project and they did great. Once again a huge thank you to Grandma and Grandpa Price they sacrificed a lot of time and let us use great horses. Thank you for all you do!!
I told him to pick his favorite win, or the one the meant the most...This is the snaffle bit
Ruxton wore clear out!
This is what you get after a long day, what my boys looked like after the horse show on Tuesday. They were so good. Ruxton and Addler ran around on
Dezi's pony the whole day with her nephew Tom. They were as tired as the poor pony!

Holdan completely out...This is what I wish I was doing.
Addler never naps, but you know he is tired when he just sits there not moving and not even thinking...he never stops moving. Next year he will be in the show!
