So my Ruxton has graduated from preschool. This actually happened on May 19, 2010. I feel like it was just yesterday, thus my excuse why I haven't put it up yet. I have been so proud of him and his growth. The start of the year he was shy and unsure about doing anything that he didn't know about. To becoming one of my most social kids. He will strike up a conversation with a stranger now. He was a crack up in the preschool. I will share one funny little story that I love. For Halloween he was undecided what he was going to be forever, and it was a big deal. He had "to save the girls" so he had to be some type of super hero. He wanted to be a cowboy but didn't know how he would save the girls that way, so you know me I gave him my rendition of what I imagined, a cowboy with a couple of six shooters saving the day could do. The cowboy is always the toughest guy, right. He went for it with much enthusiasm. I took him to preschool that day all dressed up, he gets out of the car and I am following him in, mean while a couple of the other boys showed up at the same time. Ruxton sees them and with out even a thought he walks up to him puts his arm around him and says, "Well Jayden, are you ready to go save the princesses'!" The moms me included just started to laugh.
So needless to say he grew a lot, however I wasn't sure he was going to go for the graduation thing, they practiced the day before at preschool, and he came home talking about how ugly and silly the hats were and how he was not going to wear them or sing. But I informed him that if the other boys were doing it he should be able to because he is brave! It worked! Never a dole moment with Ruxton we love him so much in our home.
Congratulations graduate!
